Brave Dinosaurs is an evidence-based preventive group training program for children in grades 3 and 4 (ages 6-8) of primary school whose parents are divorced. The training is designed to help children better cope with the changes during and after the divorce.
Brave Dinosaurs consists of 10 weekly 45-minute meetings. A Brave Dinosaurs group consists of a maximum of 7 children and meets during or after school.
Parents are informed and involved during the intake about their child and at a group meeting with other parents. They also receive newsletters and are invited to a separate final meeting.
